JCL History

Johnson Contractors Ltd is a well established business having traded since 1991 and was founded by Jack Johnson. Under his leadership, the company has found huge success in the  industry, becoming the top forestry contracting company in the region and working on various high-profile projects while partnering with government agencies. Our training and recruitment arm of Johnson Recruitment and Training  Services Ltd offer industry skills and training, career pathways and  employment. JCL Vision

With the continued support and vision of Jack, we are now expanding into the directional drilling space. This new division will be headed by Rayner Johnson who brings over 15 years of experience across a diverse range of drilling projects throughout New Zealand and Australia.
Rayner’s technical expertise and innovative approach to underground infrastructure solutions positions Johnson Contractors to deliver the same level of excellence in directional drilling that we’ve become known for in forestry services.
